rooted in John 15:4-9

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.

hi there,

I'm tara

Owner / Lead Photographer

In a nutshell: I’m a follower of Jesus, a wife (married my best friend in 2022), cat mom (x3), and a lover of coffee, books, and traveling. If I’m not behind the camera or my laptop, I'm likely curled up with a book, playing a board game with my husband, or on a walk. I moved up to Eastern PA mid-2024 after living in Florida for all my life!

Photography has been part of my life since I was 11 years old. I started out photographing landscapes, but photographed by first wedding at 19 years old. Years later, here I am!   Since pursuing photography professionally, I have developed an even deeper appreciation for the big and small moments.

For years I've called myself a "sentimental memory hoarder", but it's because I believe milestones, big or small, deserve to be frozen in time so you can relive them over and over again. If you’re someone who cherishes the tiny in-between moments just as much as the big ones, I have a feeling we'll get along just fine. (:

my approach to photography

I want you to look back at your photos and say "that feels like me/us". I want to take photos that feel like you and that encompass the celebration, the joy, and the love. I call my style directed-documentary. Of course there are some photos that are posed and probably the ones that you will print and hang on your walls, but I think it's also important to grab candid shots of you being fully present.

Honest, sentimental & celebratory. That's always my goal. Not just in the imagery, but in the full client experience leading up to your big day and throughout. You aren't just a client on the wedding day, you're my client from the beginning of our process together. You deserve the best service possible throughout all of the prep and planning too. 🤍

1) CONSULT & BOOKING

Upon submission of a Contact form, you'll receive a link to schedule a 30 minute consult call. During this call, I'll get to know a bit about you, where you're at in your wedding planning prep, share my photography process, and provide you with a price quote.

2) PLANNING

Once you book my services, we'll start some initial prep. I like to have an Intro Call, which allows me to better understand the heart behind your wedding and the dynamics of the day. Following our call, I will send you a Wedding Photo Form, which allows me to eventually create your Photo Shot List and know additional key points.

3) PREP

A few months out from your wedding day, we'll have a Details Call to discuss your Photo Shot List in depth, customizing it to fit your family and detail needs! I will also go to create a Photography Timeline during this call as we discuss the key timeframes of your wedding day! After this call, my clients typically feel much more at ease with wedding planning in general as they begin to better envision the whole day coming together!

4) THE BIG DAY

A couple of weeks prior to your wedding day, I'll check in and ensure any last-minute changes are accounted for within the Shot List + Timeline, that way...

the day-of everything will run smoothly! I'll show up, photograph the quiet, loud, and in-between moments, as well as ensure that I provide you with the best possible service that I can.
