My approach to wedding photography is rooted in authenticity through directed-documentary style photography. I aim to document your day as it truly unfolds, photographing the happy tears, meaningful glances, and in-between moments you may not even notice in the whirlwind of it all.

While I lean toward a documentary style, there’s also thoughtful structure behind every wedding I photograph. I believe in the beauty of the unplanned, but I also know how important it is to make time for timeless family formals and a few carefully posed portraits (which are oftentimes the ones that often end up framed and/or passed down for generations).

my process

Once you’ve booked with me, the first step is getting to know you better. I’ll send you a link to schedule an Intro Call where we can talk through your wedding vision and get more of a feel for what matters most to you. This part isn’t just about the logistics, but rather about building connection with you!

A couple months before your wedding, we’ll reconnect to go over your details in depth via a Details Call. We’ll discuss your timeline, family dynamics, must-have shots, and any meaningful elements that you want captured. I’ll help you think through the structure of the day so that everything flows smoothly and so we can make space for both the beautifully posed images and the candid moments.

A couple of weeks prior to your wedding, I like to do a check in (either a short call or via text) to ensure nothing has shifted unexpectedly (or if it has, this allows me to prepare for those changes). Then comes your wedding day, where I already know your expectations, and you know exactly what I'll be capturing. Your final gallery will be delivered within three weeks (& a handful of sneak peeks within 48 hours), filled with thoughtfully edited images that allow you to relive your day again and again.
