When two becomes three
My heart grew 10x during this session and my eyes may have watered just a little bit... maybe. Okay, yes. I CRIED. How could you not when your friends just brought the cutest little bean into the world?!
Fully embracing the Christmas season, as well as all of the cutesy little girly things, Raegan and Will reached out with the desire of a newborn session at their home in Bethleham, Pennsylvania. Not only did we get to showcase the home that baby Evelyn will end up growing up in, but we also got to incorporate their furbaby, Dewey, which was perfect because he made an appearance in their maternity photos too!
Raegan and Will had tender little details that I loved photographing, including a quilt with Psalms and beautiful colors handmade by a family member, ornaments on their tree for "baby's first Christmas", baby Evelyn's first Christmas stocking, and even a baby dress that Raegan herself wore when she was an infant (and of course we got pictures of baby Evelyn in it too... what a sweet thing that it fit her too!).
I love the idea of capturing visuals of the joining of the baby to the household, so we also got a couple of pictures of Raegan and Will's coffee mugs accompanied by a baby bottle, and their Bibles set next to what will be Evelyn's first Bible.
Doing family photography for the Alpaugh family was an honor. I truly adore their little family and capturing this milestone in their family was an honor. May the Lord bless their family, now and always. 🤍
