Sweet and sanctifying - C&B's wedding day
Casey and Bailey's Sellersville wedding celebration came to fruition just as they imagined. These two planned and executed the majority of their day (with the help of friends and family), and it was simply beautiful. Between the colorful color palette, the intentional, hand-made details, and the love between C&B, as a Bucks County wedding photographer, I absolutely loved capturing their wedding day.
The day started with Casey and Bailey both getting ready at their ceremony location, Indian Creek Church of the Brethren. The church had romantic lighting, as the ceiling was adorned with gold chandeliers. Casey and Bailey's pastor officiated their ceremony, adding an extra sentimental touch.
Following their ceremony, we got some family portraits and bridal party photos within and outside of the church. The weather could not have been better, so following those portraits, C&B and myself went over to Lake Lenape Park for a quick bride and groom session (a shoutout to Casey's sweet cousin and bridesmaid for assisting us)! Their bride and groom portraits are so Fearless album coded (which is exceptionally fitting since that is Casey's favorite Taylor Swift album, haha).
Their reception was right on par with the rest of the day: wonderful. With a first dance between the newlyweds, tables of guests grabbing a photo with C&B on their way to the buffet line, and Bailey's dad breaking it down on the dance floor (along with other guests, but his dad was definitely center-stage), the day couldn't have gone smoother.
Also, can we take a moment to appreciate their cookie table PLEASE?! Those cookies and treats are HANDMADE by the bride and her loved ones. A dessert table has never ever smelled so good y'all..
The whole day truly felt like I was watching a romance movie. It was just so refreshing. No stress, just joy. Just resting in the sweetness of the Lord and how he brought these two together, is growing them into husband and wife, and will further sanctify them through married life. Congrats to the Rushes! It was truly my pleasure to capture a wedding day such as this. 🩷
