So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.

-Matthew 19:6

Not only was Danielle and Mason's day a joining of two in marriage, but it was a testament to how the Lord works in perfect timing.

Danielle and Mason met online through a dating app... which is exactly the last place that Danielle thought she'd find a God-fearing man (for context: her friend made her a profile). Despite the odds, and the fact that Danielle's dating profile highlight photo was of her in a turkey costume, she matched with Mason.

I met Danielle before her and Mason were engaged. We connected online through a mutual love of photography and decided to get coffee together. We chatted about work, how we both came to follow Jesus, and also found that we had some random things in common (like the fact that her family is Taiwanese - so is my husband's!). A few months later, Danielle reached out that she was engaged. And what an honor it was to be the one to photograph her New Jersey wedding day.

In addition to their wedding day, I had the joy of photographing their engagement session. This was my first time meeting Mason, and I could see the comfort and kindness that he brings into Danielle's life. Those same things were very apparent on their wedding day.

Through a smooth getting ready, to prayers over the couple prior to their wedding ceremony, Danielle and Mason were fully surrounded by community that not only supported their union, but brought biblical encouragement and prayers into the celebration. One of my favorite moments was during Danielle and Mason's church ceremony, where right after they exchanged rings, they took communion. While they took communion, close friends lead everyone in worship. Behind my camera I got teary-eyed.

In addition to worshipping through music during their ceremony, they also ended their reception with a song of praise. Danielle, Mason, and all of their guests were singing loudly, and jumping up and down, dancing with praises to the Lord. All the glory be to Him!

There were so many beautiful moments through D&M's wedding day that I could go on and on about... instead, I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

Dani & Mason: Thank you for letting me have a glimpse into your lives and your love for one another. It was an honor to capture this milestone for you. I truly adore you and your families. What a celebration. 🤍
